Annemein kicked off her traineeship at the French-speaking side of the company. Her first assignment brought her to France, where she joined the Procurement team to help simplify complex processes.

Next, she moved to the drying department in Waarschoot, where she worked alongside supervisors, gaining first-hand experience in how production and packaging come together.
“You’re really working with both people and products. That energy gave me a huge boost.”

She later joined the Sustainability team, using Power BI to calculate the carbon footprint of each product and ingredient. This helped product managers and customers clearly understand the impact of their choices.
“It was exciting to work on something so relevant, and to come up with practical solutions that actually made a difference.”

In her final rotation, she returned as supervisor to the poultry department, before stepping into her current role as Supply Chain Manager. She now leads a team of 50+ colleagues, including planners, buyers and logistics staff. Recently, slicing and packaging of dried sausages were also added to her scope.
“I’m proud of how far I’ve come and proud of what we achieve together as a team, every day.”
