When Simon joined DeliBarn as an operator in March 2021, he wasn’t yet sure which path he wanted to take. With a technical background but no fixed plan, he was given the freedom to explore and grow.
Within months, he started internal training to become a technician. He learned the ropes from experienced colleagues, was encouraged to take his time, and wasn’t afraid to make mistakes.
“The trust you get here makes all the difference. You can make mistakes, and that’s exactly how you grow faster.”
After three months as a technician, Simon saw new opportunities. He took on emergency shifts and offered to help with work planning when he noticed the workload wasn’t evenly spread.
“I’m glad I spoke up. It gave me another chance to grow and develop myself further.”
What does Simon appreciate most about DeliBarn?
“The warm atmosphere and team spirit. You’re never on your own, not even during hectic shifts. We help each other out. And we share fun moments too, like Take Away Fridays with fries, or group runs during lunch. Those little things really make it special.”
