What are your responsibilities as Quality Manager?

As a Site Quality Manager, you are part of an enthusiastic Plant Management Team that is committed every day to producing products according to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Together with your team, you oversee the application of quality standards (from the arrival of raw materials to the finished product) and work closely with colleagues—not only within the site but also across the group—to continuously improve processes.

As part of the Plant Management Team:

  • You play, together with the Plant Manager, a leading role in ensuring that all procedures within the plant are followed as prescribed in the Site Quality Manual and that all agreements are respected.
  • You act as the main point of contact for all quality-related questions from the group, customers, suppliers, and external parties.
  • You implement Group QA policies and procedures at the site.
  • You guide the plant’s operations team towards success during inspections and external audits.
  • Together with your team, you handle, follow up, trend, and report non-conformities.

As manager of the Plant QA Team:

  • You lead a team of QA professionals who, together with you, ensure the smooth launch of new products and the efficient production of existing ones.
  • You organize training sessions for colleagues on-site in the context of continuous improvement.
  • You foster the growth and development of your team members’ competencies, while also being given opportunities for your own professional development.
  • You stay up to date with developments in your field and report directly to the Plant Manager.

As a member of the Delibarn QA Team:

  • You work in a matrix structure and report directly to the Head of Quality.
  • You are part of the Group Internal Auditor pool, conducting internal audits at all sites within the Group.

What do you bring to the table?

  • You hold a higher education degree related to food technology and/or have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within an industrial environment.
  • You have experience implementing and maintaining QA standards (IFS, BRCGS, ACS, etc.) with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • You are a strong people manager who can delegate effectively while maintaining a helicopter view. You communicate clearly, are assertive and persuasive, and are strongly results-oriented.
  • You have strong analytical and trending skills, combined with a hands-on, pragmatic approach to processes.
  • In addition to Dutch, you speak fluent English.
