What will you do as a Logistics Controller Empties?

As a Logistics Controller Empties, you are responsible for the complete and accurate follow-up of all balance reconciliations with suppliers (regarding empties) for our sites in Waarschoot and Wommelgem. Your responsibilities

  • Initiating and monitoring balance reconciliations with various suppliers for our sites in Waarschoot and Wommelgem.
  • Maintaining daily contact with suppliers regarding the empty-goods figures they provide, aligning supplier data with internal data in order to reach compromises or settlements.
  • Analyzing data daily via Qlickview and keeping the ERP system up to date (types, quantities per supplier) based on supplier and internal data. Additionally, you investigate any discrepancies: comparing registrations, gathering substantiated evidence, and ensuring proper resolution with suppliers. Following up on deposit settlements with all suppliers is also part of your duties.
  • You may also need to look up delivery and shipping documents as a control measure for the reported balances.
  • You are responsible for the monthly reconciliation of empty-goods balances per supplier and empties type.
  • You report directly to the Logistics Assistant/Manager Empties.

  • You are a true self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and able to work independently. Drive, enthusiasm, and a hands-on mindset are at least as important in this role.
  • You are a strong communicator and gain energy from following up with suppliers. You are punctual, commercially minded, and inventive.

  • You can commit to a temporary assignment of approximately 6 months.
