What are your tasks as an Allround Technician?

As an Allround Technician, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the flawless operation of our machinery and energy facilities. After a thorough induction period, you will make a crucial contribution to achieving our company's productivity and quality targets.

Your main tasks include:

  • Fast and independent troubleshooting: You will repair interferences in the machinery and energy facilities and ensure that these solutions are preventively secured for the future.
  • Contributing to new technical projects: You participate in the installation of new machines, often in collaboration with external contractors.
  • Preventive and curative maintenance: As an expert, you take care of both preventive and curative maintenance of our installations.
  • Keeping correct records: You record problems and their solutions, and make clear instructions.
  • Execute maintenance plan: You are responsible for maintaining and implementing the maintenance plan.
  • Collaborating with other departments: You work closely with colleagues in Production and report to the Maintenance Manager.
     

What do you bring to the table?

  • Technical training and experience: You have a technical education (e.g. Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Techniques level 3/4 or equivalent courses) and have initial experience in a similar role.
  • Working independently: With your technical background and experience, you can work independently and autonomously. Experience with packaging machines in the food sector is a plus.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automation: Any knowledge of this is a plus.
  • Sense of responsibility: You have a great sense of responsibility and constantly keep safety, quality, order and cleanliness in mind.
  • Willingness to work in a cool environment: You have no problem working in a cool working environment (between 2 and 7 degrees Celsius).
  • Flexibility in working hours: You are willing to work in 2 shifts 
  • Cooperation in shifts: Within the technical department, you will work in shifts, where you are never alone. You will always run in a group of three mechanics, allowing you to be learned quickly and never be alone.
  • Language skills: You have a good knowledge of Dutch or English.
